Max & Thelma partnered in 1977  taking up social dancing. Recognising their potential they took up the challenge of Medal and Showcase dancing, which engrossed them passionately into the sport of dancing. 

In 1988, after gaining several years of experience in all styles of dancing, they made the decision to have a go at competitive dancing. 

Throughout the following years, whilst dancing through the grades and sections, they won not only State Titles, but also several Interstate Titles.

Max & Thelma achievements span an array of finals and titles; 

• State Titles in Latin 1989
• Australian finallists '89 & '90
• State DanceSport Champions;
  • Standard Ballroom 1993 through 2000
  • New Vogue 1993 through 2000.

• In 1998, the pair took their passion further and became teachers of dancing, quickly establishing a successful dance school, catering for both Social and Competitive dancers.
• Max and Thelma run social dances every month in a friendly fun filled environment.
• Teaching over the years  many medallists in all styles from Bronze through to Oscar.
• Max & Thelma are passionate about passing on the knowledge and experience they have gained over many years from many different coaches in an effort to create fun in peoples dancing.
